I couldn't afford the 2 hr drive one way three times a week to the only iop who accepted my insurance. And it was still $200 a week on top of that. So I dropped out and bon immediately suspended my license. My parents then stepped up and offered to help but by then the bon was involved. I was out of work for 8 months as a nurse, my job luckily put me into medical records to help filing. I went back to the program and finished the iop, and now am in aftercare. My job gave me back my nursing job even with my restrictions albeit with a lower pay. I knew I couldn't be choosy. Learned a new specialty, And now I have a great job that I love, away from narcotics as an MDS coordinator. I am making more now than I did before my addiction.
