After a stint in the Army i needed my medical records sent to my family physician and a specialist. Well the Army draged their feet at my requests, 4 I belive(sp),I contacted the late John Heinz(yes of the ketchup Heinz')my Semeter in DC less than a week later I recieved a hand written note from Mr Heinz and a letter sent to him by the Army stateing they were forwarding the requested documents to the physicians. About 3 days later another note and letter following up on weather the records got to where they needed to go. My point is the congressman understood who he worked for and was glad to light a fire under someone's ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also try your local BAR Association, you may be able to get some free advice from this group of lawyers, all different from criminal to civil and everything in between.
