Tray Castagne, 36, of west hollywood, overdosed about 4:15 a.m. on ecstacy and possibly GHB-a rape drug also known as liquid ecstacy. He collapsed and recieved treatment at the scene from paramedics and doctors, but they could not save him. They pronounced Castagne dead at 5:25 a.m., according to a San Bernadino county coronors office press release.

At about 11:40 a.m., Edgar Diaz, 22, of La Puente stopped to help a stranded motorist on Havasu Landing Road. Diaz was preparing to leave the rave and was shaking the other drivers hand when a toyota corolla hit and killed him. The toyota went out of controll and overturned, the coronors office press release said. Those in the toyota were also leaving the rave Perret said.

Another person driving home from the event caused an accident at about 3:20 p.m. on highway 95 in Needles that killed a 50 year old Arizona woman, Perret said.

The woman was a passenger in a 1999 mercury grand marquis traveling south on highway 95. The driver of a toyota forerunner traveling north on the highway lost control at a curve and overturned. The toyota went airborne and landed on the right portion of the mercury.

Paramedics pronounced the woman in the mercury dead at the scene, said a press release from the coronors office.
