Subject: Creamfields in NYC

Cream regrets to announce the cancellation of Creamfields NY scheduled for September 1st at Calverton Business Park, Riverhead, Long Island, NY. The show was cancelled at the advice of Clear Channel who felt that ticket sales so far were lower than expected.
Months of preparation had gone into the US debut of the highly successful, award-winning UK dance festival. The cancellation of Creamfields NY is representative of declining ticket sales of most summer tours and festivals. A Creamfields spokesperson today stated; "Both Cream and Clear Channel are hugely disappointed that the event is not going to take place this year. All the artists and DJs involved were looking forward to participating in such a significant event for dance and electronic music. We would like to apologize to anyone who has already purchased tickets and to anybody who was planning on doing so."

Ticket refunds are available at point of purchase.

The sixteen hour long event was set to feature some of the best of the US and UK DJs and artists including Fatboy Slim, Orbital, Crystal Method, Stereo MCs, Richie Hawtin and many more.

Cream is the London based company responsible for Cream, one of the biggest dance brands in the world, and the hugely successful Creamfields festival in the UK and Europe.
