Subject: My Sad Blue Ink Pen

"My Sad Blue Ink Pen"

I like to write with my blue sad ink pen,
you might even say its my best friend.
I had an ink pen and it was blue with blue ink; I think.
but I lost it in my wet sink.
So I ran back to the store as fast as can be,
to find another blue ink pen just like I had before, for me.
I had to go to the same store, to find my favorite blue ink pen; well
its in the shade of "forget-me-not" blue
that sad colour of blue too; if you are into hues of blue.
I love it so I really do, and use it everyday to fill up page after page
writing word after word, letter after letter;nothing is better
its almost like a play on a stage.
I blow on the paper until the blue ink is good and dry,
its real wet just like nail polish in shades of pink, and
I know its so blue and stays wet like tears and is sad
because it was somehow left out of the rainbow
after the storm of long long ago.
