wings so delicate
as could be torn
by too cruel the winds breath
made of an antique
lace
careful not to soil
the beauty they have always
held captive
love to the producer
of such sweet perfection

slowly bud of 'maybe'
chances to enlighten
a garden of roses.
hidden thorns.
provocative.
lone soldier belittled
seen by one
but one enough to find it
more appealing than the
seductive smell of those
false apparitions of desire
love to seeker that
has found true potential
