HE LOVES ME, HE LOVES ME NOT

Cherry blossom lips of wine
Caress my naked breasts.
Lying in a bed of sun drenched yellow rose petals
Drowning in midnight velvet sheets,
Our moon-kissed bodies melt in Eden’s arms.
Sailing sapphire springs of passion’s ocean,
Our soul’s become one in a true lover’s knot.
You whisper sweet nothing’s in my ear
As I capture each flaxen rose petal
Whispering, “He love’s me, he love’s me not.”
Another keepsake in our treasure chest of memories.
When the years decay, we’ll look back
And see sun drenched yellow rose petals
Drifting on the wind as I hold tight
That last precious petal, “He love’s me.”
