Prayers of Strength for my DS -- The Kirk

Subject: Prayers of Strength for my DS

If you have a few moments, could you say a prayer for my DS. He has a history of Depression/Suicidal/Anxiety Disorders. This all started three years ago and after a very rough Junior years in high school, he seemed to be doing really well as long as he took his meds. Well, this summer, he decided he wanted off his meds and stopped taking them in June. Needless to say, they have worn off and he is back to how he was three years ago. The problem is he is 19 and I cannot force him to take his meds. Plus, he needs to realize for himself that he is much happier and more mentally stable when he does take them.

Anyways, it was really rough here in our home this morning. I *think* he restarted his meds but I know he is still mentally fighting the idea of taking them everyday. (Thank God that he has an appointment with his psychiatrist tomorrow!)

If you have a minute to send a prayer our way, we could use it! I want my son happy and healthy!

his psych DR. may not be able to talk to you about him, but be VERY sure to talk to him about your son!!! he may very well not know that your son is off / was off his meds. he needs to know. God bliss -- JamesG, 17:10:56 08/01/12 Wed
