Subject: HOMEWORK! Yes, it's back!

I don’t know where to start. Or what to say. I mean, how many times can I do this?

My sincerest apologies for my two plus months hiatus. Every time I post, I intend to have a homework posted every two weeks. To comment on the posts in a timely fashion. Here’s a good one. To actually write something. But then, it’s like my good intentions are paving my way into the dark, because, just because, something always comes along to screw with them. And so I’d say to myself, when this is done, I’ll do this. Then something else happens, then another, and after yet another full circle, here I am right where I started from. Numerous Mondays have past me by, and somehow it’s now November! But I haven’t missed this Monday by golly.

So…forgetting my past transgressions, I believe it’s time we move forward. I have a couple ideas that I think will be fun, and not too time consuming so we can contribute something without having to spew thousands of words. Of course, the more people who play along, the better it will be, but hey, I have faith that this board has a loyal following of prolific writers. And to bring back our lurkers, we have to give them something to read.

Starting with a homework assignment…

1. A day in the life…describe/live a typical day in the life of whomever you choose. If it’s anything like my experiences, something always happens. Take me away.

2. Must I? Yes, you must. Despite the feelings on this, whatever it is, it must be done. What is it? What approach is taken? Does it work? Any consequences or rewards?

3. The third is a word. Instigate.

Remember homeworks have a 2000 word limit, and do not expire. And that's it. Go forth and write.
