I see Larn has self-published (and I'll be bookmarking that to download it on Payday, just so you know! Congratulations!) and thought I'd let you guys know that much of the homework from here is now to be found in my first novel Old Dogs. Like Larn, I got lots of very nice rejection letters, most consisting of "this isn't what we're looking for right now" or "We really like it, but it doesn't fit our formula (I thought to myself, 'YAY!' when I read this), would you be willing to do a MAJOR rewrite?".
Sorry about the huge web addys. Anyone who remembers me from this board knows that html and formatting are very weak skills. The Force is not strong with this one...;-P
