Subject: Thank you Susie! I can't tell you how many times I wonder about snippets that have been posted here and I never get to see how they end, so it's very appreciated to read the finished product! >>>

And oh yes! I remember this story. Quite fondly. Now that I read the whole thing, I can appreciate the spot on humor, the anticipation, the twists that I didn't expect. Oh, and I love how Mark had an answer for everything, even though at the end, I got to see part of his true side and how he really knew what was what. Awesome!

Now the interview, I must confess I read those before I read the stories. Kinda like reading the back of a novel before you decide to take a chance on it. *G*

The first one, way too serious for me personally, and not my cup of tea at all. And the starry-eyes hopes of starry-eyed hopes at the end was just so unlike the rest of the interview, I wondered if she just couldn't articulate it. So, didn't read her story.

Second interview, that tell me about your story that was just a story? Well, geez. Talk about pride in your efforts. And so nope, that turned me off as well. If you don't care enough about it to tell me about it, why the heck would I read it? So much for getting your name out there, or a face to put to it as there wasn't a picture.

Now yours. The best of the three. IMHO of course. And here's why. You mentioned something about yourself that I could identify with. Not the soccer mom part, because I refuse to do that (terrible but four years of Tae Kwon Do three nights a week was enough thanks *G*)but the squeezing in time to do your craft while you live your life I sure got. And I also learned something new about you. I didn't know you use to teach history! But then you merged the two together and it just worked for me. The tell me about your story, actually told me something about your story. Fancy that. And because I could identify with you doing your craft when you could, when you mentioned how it came about, the car you used to drive, your son liking Star Wars, it told me it was sincere, fantasy or no. Then the best. Tell me about your future. You actually mentioned being excited to be in the anthology! You mentioned another book that you've finished. A current WIP. You actually mentioned your plans for writing! Not no starry-eyed dream. Not a graphic novel. Writing a book! But here's what got my attention. You actually had fun writing. Now that is wonderful.

Congrats Susie!

Hugs

Esther

I was tempted to put in the name of our little group and how to find us, but the more i thought of it, I didn't want a bunch people who aren't Diana fans popping over here- because its a big part of who we are- what we like. And anyway, I think we do a damn good job just as we are.
