Let�s make this as easy as possible.

What

A Christmas story. A poem. The best you can make it. In as many or as few words as you need. The only requisite is that it�s about Christmas. And in that you are free to explore and create or remember and share what it means to you. Wishes. Memories. And everything in between.

Who

Everyone and anyone can contribute. Write and post. Read and reply. Lurkers. Wannabees. Newbies. Returnies. Old timers. This is what we make it.

Where

Right here on the Lit. I�ll start a new post and title it accordingly and then just post your title in the message subject and we can follow inside to read the rest.

When

I�ll start the new post around the 20th of December. Post when you�re ready. Chaos breeds chaos, so don�t wait too long. The idea is to have time to enjoy it before it�s over.

Why

In the spirit of the season.

How

In years past, it was encouraged that we partner up to ensure our best was posted. If you�d like to do so, feel free to. Shout out here if you�d like a partner to crit it off line before you post the final version on the Lit. Some of us have each other�s email if you choose to keep it private. This has merit, with the added motivation to get it done early so someone has time to go over it. But feel free to forgo this choice and go off on your own if that is the way you work best. Just don�t forget to post when you�re done.

But I�ve been known to be wrong before. SO. Any questions, feel free to ask and I�m sure it�ll be clarified as quick as can be.

Not Christmas, but the story! If I could be so bold, could you post another reminder about the first week in December? Or sure as shootin' I'll forget again!

Both of my current WIP have the holidays as part of the background, but nothing has suggested it to me yet. Valerie and Daniel's first Christmas wasn't exactly Hallmark material, so Molly may take the stage. A reminder would be good. I'll do my best!
