request for 9th AAF glider command

Hello Brian, I'm recreating an A-2 jacket in honor and memory of my grandfather who was a glider pilot in WWII. He was in the 9th Air Force, 435th Troop carrier group, 77th Troop carrier squadron, 194th glider infantry regiment. He was in Operation Varsity, that crossed the Rhine in March of 1945. I saw a patch on your site that intrigued me and I thought I might have it painted on the front of the jacket if you could give me a good picture of it. It is listed as 9th AAF glider command. It's a 9th AF insignia with a glider characature that looks like its avoiding a flak shell or something. I thought it might look good on the left front of the jacket. If you know anything about it I'd like to know more about it. Also, if your come across a patch or picture of the 435th's insignia, I'd like to see that too. I'll keep an eye on your site to see if you come up with one. Thank you for your time, and the site is great!! Chris Jella
