Subject: 11th Comm Sq of 1951 3rd AF

I was with the 11th Comm Sq of 3rd Af in Ruislip England in 1951-52. I was actually detached to AB Sq in Bovingdon RAF Base. We operated a transmitter station for radio operators at HQ 3rd AF in Ruislip. Was there a 11th Comm patch or pin then or developed since? I belong to the "Bovingdon Bunch" a group of airmen (mostly airbase men) who served at Bovingdon from 1949-62. But I really did not serve "with" them as we were in a field away from them.
