Just a bit of trivia since I couldn't find a FASRON 114 patch on your patch collection page:
I recently purchased an old 1946 Ford coupe in the Austin, Texas area. When I got it home and was trying to figure out how many million dollars it was gonna cost me to get it roadworthy, I noticed a very faded out decal on the driver side back window. It is barely readable, but I can make out FASRON 114 and a figure of a large bear. Can't tell what the bear is doing, or is holding, but I thought it was very neat. I plan to leave it there as an indication of respect. Wish it was clear enough to forward a photo of, but alas it is too faded. I don't know who the original owner of the car was because the only ID numbers they used back then were motor numbers.
The motor, transmission, and differential are long gone on this old barn queen. That's all I have, was just doing a little research on what FASRON 114 meant and found this site. That's it, told you it was trivia. I thought someone may be interested though. Thanks, Tom in Texas
