Subject: 17th Recon Sqd, 71st Recon Group, 5th AAF

My uncle, SSG Gerald A Braun, was assigned as a flight engineer on a B25 assigned to the 17th Recon Sqd, 71st Recon Group. His plane was shot down on Apr 22 1945 over Formosa, with loss of entire crew. Any info on patches for 17th Recon sqd or 71st Recon Group would be appreciated!
