Subject: Can you identify this patch

I have recently been given a patch from my late father. I am trying to find out which squadron it relates to. I would like to gain the history prior to framing, this will allow a better tribute to the pilots of yesteryear.

As I can not post a picture, I will try and describe the patch. It is a square patch which seems to be in five sections. I believe the top left corner shows the white star of China on a blue background which is all on top of a red background. Top right corner is the American Flag, bottom left has a shield shape patch which has a white star top left, white 5 point star top right, on a blue background and 3 red and 2 white vertical stripes. In the bottom centre of the main patch it has whatI believe to be chinese writing and then the bottom right patch shows a blue circle patch with gold wings and a white 5 point star with red centre. I do have a picture on file if any one wishes to see it. Your assistance in the matter is very much appreciated. Kind regards Clayton and Lianne
