Dear Sir,
301 BG was activated Feb 3rd 1942,Moved to England(Europe)in July-Aug 1942 Assigned to 8th AF,Began Combat Sept 1942.Attacked submarine pens, airfields, railroads,bridges and other targets on the Continent but mainly in France.Operated with 12th AF after moving to N-Africa Bombed several object on Sicily/Tunesia etc.
Recieved DUC for a mission to Germany,after bombing aircraft factories near Regenburg. Squadrons 32nd/353nd/353/354/419(inactivated June 16th 1945)
I've a big collection WWII patches.
