Kyushu - 1945 - USS Hornet

Firstly my name Mick Gladwin I am a serving member of the Royal Air Force in the UK and I am looking towards US Navy for help!

My question is, I have just received 8 air photo recce prints dated the 18th March 1945 , the prints have on them
" CIV 12 - 639 KYUSHU KAYONA A/F " (I think that Kayona is misspelled and should be Kaonya) I have contacted a USAAF web site and they lead me to believe that the CIV12 could be USS Hornet.

Would you have any information on which units may have flown air photo recce missions over Kyushu from the USS Hornet on the 18th March 1945.
