Subject: Wanted VP-49 & VAP-61

Looking for two 1950s-vintage USN patrol squadron patches. 1.) VP-49, NAS, Bermuda circa 1953, depicts an orca whale leaping out of the ocean assisted by JATO tanks with a sinking sub in the background. 2.) VAP-61, NAS Agana, Guam circa 1956 shows a pilot and tail-gunner sitting astride a flying goose with a corner of the world shown in the lower right area of the patch. I belive this patch design was originated by utility squadron VJ-61 in the late 1940s or early 1950s.
