Dear COL. Dickman,
1st, thank you for serving and protecting our country when my parents were children. It's because of men like you I enjoy a life as wonderful as I do in this country.

I would love to have them - I love preserving this history, It was a horrible time that brought out the best in Americans and the Allies. As soon as I get them, I will share them with the rest of the world via my website. That's the best part of this for me. I get letters from kids and sons & daughter who are trying to ID their fathers unit from old pictures, or jackets found in footlockers in the attic. I hear some really neat stories. Thank you again and it is an honor to speak to you. Please feel free to write me again at any time. If you have any stories you feel like sharing I would love to post, or if you spot any mistakes I might have made somewhere on my website. Sincerely, Brian French
