Subject: 3rd Army Air Force "Emblem"

I am writing from the Lake Lure Inn and Suites in Lake Lure, NC (www.lakelureinn.com). During WW II, the Inn was one of 5 "stateside" "R&R" facilities of the Army Air Force. We are planning a memorial to the some 5,000 airmen who spent time at our facility. Also, we are redecorating our bar/lounge as the "Aviator's Lounge" and are therefore seeking all manner of memorabilia related to the Army Air Force in WW II. In the lounge, there is a large, impressive moose head of whom the locals are very fond. There is a detailed description of a moose "emblem" associated with the 3rd AAF on military.com's website. I have been unable to find anything that displays this moose. Can anyone help us locate something visual on the 3rd's moose (photo, flag, banner, patch)? Also, we are given to understand that many if not most of the airmen who resided here were 8th AAF so we are seeking squadron patches and other memorabilia related to the "Mighty Eighth". Thanks for any assistance!
