Subject: Wanted - 50th TCS Troop Carrier Squadron

Hello,
I have been trying to locate patches of the 50th Troop Carrier Squadron from WW2 and Korea. As a past member of the 50th and, having located seven others that I was stationed, I would like any information you could provide in helping to locate any patches. The 50th has a plaque at Memorial Park at the AF Museum in Dayton,OH. I can email a photograph of it. This is the best I can do and, it is the only place I have ever seen what the patch looks like. The symbol in the lower left hand portion of the plaque is, what I assume to be, what the patch would look like. I wish I could have been of more help. I would appreciate any information you may come across. Obviously, this goes back to WWII, so there may be someone from that time who would send you some info.
Thanks again, I appreciate the effort and reply to my inquiry.
Thank you,

P.S. I'll send you a picture from the Vietnam Magazine of one of our planes when we were flying into Indochina with the French Insignia on the booms of our C-119s.
