Subject: Nice Site - yes WW2 Vets are now passing away.

Found your site in Voy.com Automotive listings. Mine is number 164895 - your First Car. Recently seen a beautifully preserved WW2 Jeep at a Classic Show in England. But not only the Jeep, - it had one of those rare original trailers behind it. Great sound from the fan on these vehicles. My wife's father was on transport in Montgomery's Army in WW2 - heading through Italy. In this instance Patten 'outgunned' his 'rival' Montgomery I believe. I was born 4 years after the end of the War. I remember the WW1 vets becoming fewer and fewer. Now sadly the same happening with the WW2 vets. If any of you get chance to visit Normandy as we did in 1995, it is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. The landing beaches have SO many reminders left. The huge German guns, the British Mulberrys still visible in the sea (yes, really!). Sword, Juno and Gold still play an everyday part in the people's lives over there. The museums are amazingly good. The cemeteries (especially the dead from the horrendous USA landings) stay in your mind forever.
