As long as staff/faculty aren't forcing their beliefs on the students, or preaching in class, etc... I think they have a right to wear whatever they damn well please!

Suspension over a cross? Silly. However, she knew of the prohibition when she took the job and assumably signed a contract. So, her violation of that rule is grounds for suspension. But that doesn't make the rule right.

So, I don't think she has the right to sue, but I do think she should continue to fight the issue ... not her suspension ... but the rule itself.
