For starters, these are college students (read: adults) so I don't know what the big deal is anyway. They are definitely at a point where it's appropriate to know the things they're learning, seeing the things they're seeing, and learning that while it's a serious subject, it's also completely OK to have a sense of humor about it. It actually sounds a lot like the human sexuality classes I took in college (state funded and all that good stuff) all these many moons ago.

In high schools, with a slightly less mature student population, I'd probably feel just a little differently about some of the graphic nature of the materials and definitely about the teasing about masturbation. In college, though, I think it's perfectly appropriate.
