I don't understand why someone thought the "floating" posts were a good idea; on a board where people post regularly, that kind of format means you waste a lot of time scrolling around.

Then there's the color change for read posts (though they've now "fixed" that on the new boards); there's the ability to see the icons up front next to the title line--which reminds me, there *are* title lines; there's having everything in one window (especially for those of us on laptops, that *does* make a difference); and there's the noticeable and welcome absence of pop-ups.
