They quit making her in the 70's. If you dont know who Mrs. Beasly is then you wouldnt know about Buffy and Jodie either but thats beside the point. My dad bought a Mrs. beasly when I was born I had her untill she was slobbered and ragged and he went and bought me another. She was a doll but not a baby she had curly hair and granny glasses and was supposed to be a lil old lady. When you pulled her string she said things like " How would you like a story? " or "if you had 3 wishes what would you wish for?" Every picture I took with santa Mrs. beasly was on my lap too! And I believed in Santa because how could he know my dolls name ?? ( because she was a popular doll maybe ? ) When I went to the doc for a shot he would give mrs. beasly one too so if she didnt cry neither would I. I remeber tearing her arm off and dad took her to the ' doll hospital' and brought her back ' good as new' of course she WAS new. Well, I went through a few mrs. Beasleys and when the company stopped making them my dad bought the last 4 he could find. untill he finally told me the doll hospital was being turned into a pet hospital. I took really good care of my last mrs. beasly I had her untill I was 17 and she was lost during a move. :( when my daddy died when I was 18 I discovered a box for me in his closet. Thats right a brand new unopened Mrs. Beasly last I checked she was worth $ 2, 000 Like I would ever sell her. Thank you so much for letting me go back to that time. Once again Mrs. Beasly has come to comfort me and make me smile!
