I have a question for a friend about her u/s. (m/c ment)

A good friend of mine had a partial molar pg last year. She had to wait 6 months to TTC again. She did & got pg on her first try last month. I was SO excited for her. I knew the pain & anguish of losing a pg and thought that this was finally a happy ending, which gave me hope.

So, today she emailed & said that she had an u/s yesterday & nothing. They couldn't find the baby. She would be about 8 weeks. Has anyone had this happen that late before & still be pg?

I'd love to give her hope. But, I'm not sure if there is any? I'm so sad for her...this just really sucks!!

I had an u/s with dd at 7 weeks and we saw the sac and they really had to work to see my little peanut! She was just a faint shadow on the screen. No heartbeat though! Maybe she's not as far along as she thought? (NT) -- Colleen ~ praying!, 06:25:56 05/09/03 Fri
