Subject: *JERI* Just wanted to say hello - have a great Mother's Day! (m)
In reply to: sabra 's message, "```I RECKON WHATEVER YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT GOES HERE```" on 00:34:47 05/11/03 Sun

I see from yesterday's board that you relaxed yesterday - good for you! I did a little work around the house and then Gary and I went fishing. The first time we've been out together this year. The day was beautiful but the fishing was slow...He went out again this morning, but should be back around noon. After that we'll go to my parents' for the afternoon/evening. We are doing a potluck dinner for mom - and all of my siblings and wives. It should be a nice day.

We plan on telling the family today about our little one. I have a 'grandmother' card for my mom and we also bought Grandma and Grandpa bibs to open up. I hope to get there early enough to tell mom and dad alone, and then tell the rest of the family while we are there. Maybe I'll offer to say the prayer for the meal and add a line about blessing our baby due in January! That might work!

I don't feel too bad yet. I still have the tightness/cramping/off feeling in my abdomen and yesterday I was bloated and had a really sore nipple - strange! I might test again today just to reassure myself one last time! Call me crazy! My temps are still climbing. Yesterday 98.4, today 98.5. I'm still waking up at the butt crack of dawn - 5 am! What's up with that? Oh well, it's something I can live with, but I'm not really a morning person so it's a bit strange.

Enjoy today and I'll talk to you tomorrow morning. Have a wonderful Mother's Day! Remember, you are in your heart, if not quite yet in your belly. Gary wished me a happy Mother's Day before he left for fishing. He's sweet, not the Hallmark type at all, but he has his moments!

I still have this lingering head congestion. Maybe I'll have to go see the dr. and figure something out. I haven't scheduled my first pre-natal visit yet. They said sometime around 8 week. I figure I'm 4-5 weeks now, but I need to talk to the office this week anyway because they are checking on all of my meds. I have asthma, so I'm on a regiment of meds daily. Not bad, but I've had it all my life. Plus, I have allergies, dust, mold and cat. Not like I can avoid the dust around here - so it's something I live with but I did stop taking my allergy pill while TTC, so that may be causing some of my cold like symptoms.

Okay, enough rambling. I do have one other question. May be TMI, but there really doesn't seem to be too much of that here. Anyway, do you think it's okay that Gary and I continue BDing? We haven't had any since Wed. when I bled afterwards. I know it shouldn't hurt, but it's hard not to want to avoid anything that may cause bleeding. I'll ask my dr. but I wanted your advice too. Thanks!

Okay, have a great day and I'll talk to you tomorrow!

:) Mary
