I am emotional recked but glad that this is all coming to an end.

We went to the Dr. on friday for a final BT to make sure my numbers were going down. Well they were not, staying steady at 49. The Dr. called and said they wanted us to go to the emergency room as they are suspecting an ectopic pg. I could not believe it. I thought they were wrong, this is just a regular m/c.

We got there at 3:30pm and only sat in the waiting room for about 5 min until they brought us to a room. I got blood work completed and then sat there for 21/2 hrs waiting for my ultrasound. We finally went in and after an hour the tech called in a Dr. and they said they suspected the ectopic. After I got back to the room we waited for about 10 min before the Dr. came over and said that between the u/s and the bt that it was conclusive that it was ectopic. They then gave me a shot of metatrexate (sp?) and sent me home. I started spotting on Saturday and Sunday I started bleeding. I am home from work today as I am not emotionally stable enough to go back there yet. I am going to shoot for Wednesday.

I guess I will be on hold until about July and to be quite honest, that is o.k. b/c I am so scared to get started again.
