But what is "human"? Our body type? Our minds? Certainly after a million years, we will have changed. Perhaps greatly or perhaps very little. But give intelligence the chance to thrive, who knows what could happen. We will be that race's proginators. Instead of an end, we create a new beginning. It doesn't matter that we as humans may not exist in the future. What matters is that our children will. I think this is what Leto might have seen.

Perhaps they will find a way to infinity.
