Rabo was sitting at a desk in his makeshift quarters reading a progress report when Tsives entered. Being a light man, his footsteps were almost silent.

No doubt practiced, Rabo thought. From this moment on he would have to watch Tsives carefully.

"Isn't it wonderous to be free Centh. After lifetimes of service, I am enjoying myself very much....You most of all should know what I'm talking about." Tsives said with a wry smile.

"tred lightly Tsives..trust is a commodity you can ill afford."

"My Dear tsives, we both know you couldn't pull this off without me. To grow gholas one must have knowledge of the process. And we both know where your expertese lays."

"It lays with much death..and I would have no problem adding anouther to that growing list."

"Relax Centh. We are both in this together." Said Tsives in a calm clear voice. He was here for information after all. Not a duel. "What are to be your plans with the girl child once you have her?"

"You know as well as I do....The ghola." Centh said with a nod of his head. "The ghola is who we need." Did the witches know how close they came, Centh wondered.

"The one who escaped?" asked Tsives coyly

"I suspect you had a larger role in that escape than you let on Tsives."

Yes, Centh suspects me......as he well should. " Tell me Centh, when this is over, you will allow me the chance to escape?"

"Of coarse! But, Tsives, what makes you think you will find it?"

"Ahhh Centh....What makes you think you will find yours?"

And with that, Tsives walked away. There was work to do And a planet must be found.
