Subject: CoD confusion

In Children of Dune there are two Muriz's mentioned. One is a woman who is found by Ghanima after she kills Palimbasha. The other is the man whose son Assan Tariq lead the Preacher around. The man Muriz plays a much larger part in the book. Was it just simple coincidence they have the same first name? Am I missing something? Couldnt Herbert have just picked different names?
