my vision for the perfect dune series would be a two or three season adult oriented animated series (like hbo's spawn was) to cover all the books. i think that's about the only way anyone could pull off all the characters being believable and get past all the bad acting (in the mini-series) and more difficult concepts found in the books. if only someone had the balls to do it.
