ahh the little things that would have changed everything! If Jessica hadn't broken with the Sisterhood and had a son, as you said Alia would have been her first born. And also, as you said, Shaddam IV probably could have been...convinced be the Sisterhood to not lend his troops to the Baron to help destroy the Atreides. But the Emperor still isn't supposed to intervene(sp) in Major House disputes. But, the Bene Gesserit Motto seems to be "Anything for the Sisterhood", so no matter the cost Alia at least would be saved from the attack. Then they would have had their Kwissat Haderach(rp), and all would be well for the Sisterhood for the time being.
But no Paul me would mean no 'liberated' Dune, and then of course no Leto and Ghanima, and most imprtantly no Atreides to put on the sand-trout skin and so the Golden Path would not be fullfilled. Without this, Leto II's predictions of mass chaos and eventually the death of all mankind(not that there would be a Leto II to realize this) would come to pass. Or at least, that is what I'm would have guess would happen...
