 Wow. If I had the tools to play some sweet tunes that Robert hunter wrote, in a style that jerry played, I would feel blessed, and do everything I could to make that sound my own...but they (DSO)are mere forgers....without a clue as to where to go to take the music further...thats why phil and bob are true Artists...they take the framework and sometimes radically alter what we expect to hear and the music evolves, and sometimes falls flat on its face.
DSO can't afford to fall flat, because the 800 people won't comeback...they have pigeon holed themselves
