Subject: RFL Results Round 8. Wacky's race to a second win

In what can only be described as the biggest upset of the season, relegation favourite Wacky Racers have overcome The Dark Lords to record only their second win of the season. Coach Mutley was probably the most suprised, not having attended a selection meeting for over a month. When asked who he thought were amongst his best, he replied, "No idea".

The desperately unlucky Master Bakers again went down in a close one. This time at the hands of the Piss Pots who got busy to the tune of 13points. Coach Handy Shandy commented at the end of the game, "look you can mass debate over the luck we have had with injuries, the simple fact is we are getting screwed over by our fitness staff and their inability to get a competitive team on the park each week".

In the match of the round, the Disco's can only blame themselves for losing. Having the game all but won at 3/4 time. Jock's boys were given the biggest bake heard in the RFL for many a year during the break, and the seemingly impotent Navy ran all over the Disco's, thanks to a superb effort by Big Cox.

Meanwhile the SwanGunners have returned empty handed from New Delhi after being drowned in a Delhi downpour last Saturday night. In conditions not seen for many a year, the Gunners forward line and midfield was flooded out of the game. It was the Laxatives again, easily recording their 8th win of the season 139-109.
