Laxatives coach Floodney Spew this week defended his policy of sending players off for operations even though his team were poised to dominate the finals as they did the regular season. Mark Ricuitto, a key player all year, is mysteriously missing, leading to calls that Spew is playing for draft picks: "Yes we would like to rebuild for next year and go through undefeated but the playing group of players have the taste for a win. They've also been tasting the dirt at Dustbowl Stadium, we haven't had rain for 3 months. We've had to train in thongs." Spew went on to say "Sure the Bogan is out but he got on the piss and decked someone, so you can't deny the passion of the man, he cares, and that's what I've been trying to instill in the leadership group of leaders. I still had to drop him, I enjoyed laughing in his face, I think it was good for him". A fellow bogan, Scott Welsh, comes in for his first game of the season, lazy slug Anthony Rocca has kept his spot despite a form slump with Kent Kingsley breathing down his fat neck if he slips up this week. Serial Nancy Boy, Cameron Bruce, has a sore leggy weggy so can't play.
