Having thoroughly enjoyed the plaudits (and free drinks) that come with a 30+ goal haul and percentage boosting win, the old Admiral admitted today that he had allowed last weeks' "after party" to go on a bit too long.

Having noticing only later in the week, when compiling Rantlow votes, that scores attributed to Navy players were based on the PREVIOUS weeks' selected team, Jock none-the-less went out and celebrated his M-in-L's 80th in fine style over the weekend.

Numerous bottles of the legendary "Brothers in Arms" and equally quaffable "Echelon" were sought out and ruthlessly dispatched.

Today, guilt ridden and hungover, Jock advises that the Commish is to be petitioned by Navy officials to review the Navy's NAMED team for last week, re-allocate scores to the Navy's Rnd 4 named players and *gulp*, *choke* - DEDUCT the Navy's 4 points for the 'win' and *f#9K ut* bloody well hand them over to their rightful owner, the silly Wacky Races.

Jock, on being asked for a short summary of the schemozzle and how he felt about the situation said "Bugger!"

Jock was also heard to say he was trying to find his missing Match Committee chairman as he seriously wanted to give him some advice about team selections for next week.

"If ut ain't f#(%@n broke, why f#(%@n fix it?" Jock was heard to mumble as he headed off ruefully.
