Subject: Gunners Journey to McHales for Round 1
In reply to: Commissioner 's message, "SwanGunners final team list" on 23:14:29 04/14/04 Wed

The SwanGunners journey to McHales stadium in the match of the round for round 1.

After a preseason where tension between the two clubs has been at a maximum with the Navy firing of many verbal shots accross the Gunners bow, coach Quick Rade is only to happy for the season to begin.

"I'm glad we are playing the Navy this week. That scurvy lot have had more parting shots at us in the off season than Eddie McGuire and the Lions salary cap concessions. Bring on the footy. We've got the team to bring them to their knees".

In announcing the SwanGunners team Coach Quick Rade has promised an exiting brand of football. We have the forward line to kick bags of goals, a midfield that is more than capable with a mix of receivers and wide receivers, and a ruck division the envy of the league. Our tackling department was also boosted by the late drafting of Damien Peverill. The club could not believe that Pev was still available for our second last pick.

F) Matthew Lloyd, Michael O'Loughlin, Ben Graham
M) Nick Stevens, Paul Williams, Scott Camporeale
R) Aaron Sandilands
T) Damien Peverill
E) Brad Johnston
