Subject: Laxatives R3 - Unshaw has full support
In reply to: The General 's message, "Darkness Eternal Rd 3. NO CHANGE" on 17:07:39 04/29/04 Thu

Despite two unlucky losses Laxatives coach Danny Unshaw has the full support of the club board, for now. Speaking on radio Club President, billionaire spice baron The Nawab of Carnegie said "While we hate losing we recognise we are in a rebuilding phase. Although that only refers to the new stand at our home ground, if we could sack our list mid season we would, they really are useless" Asked whether he thought Unshaw had 'lost' the players he respnoded "I don't think so. Look at james McDonald, no tackles week 1 and after Danny spoke to him 7 tackles week 2. Unfortunately he had been dropped for round 2 and then got injured but thems the breaks so to speak. Dean Brogan doing his ankle at the opening bounce didn't help last week." The Nawab refused to comment on the wet tofu throwing incident which is still being investigated by police. He did say he expected a win this week "Swans represent everything that is evil in our culture, so we know that will motivate our players, I just hope too many don't get themselves reported for trying to kill the opposition."
