Subject: SwanGunners say "Bring on the Party Boys".
In reply to: Commissioner 's message, "SwanGunners final team list" on 23:14:29 04/14/04 Wed

There is no doubt about it there was an air of excitement at coach Quick Rade's press conference this afternoon, as the SwanGunners eagerly await its clash with the spandeaux queens, The Party Animals.

The Gunners view this game as a chance to bring the Animals down a peg or 2, and are genuinely excited about it. With their plethora of concessions gained over the years, there is no doubt the rest of the competition are waiting to bring this lot to there knees, and tomorrow The Gunners feel could well be the beginning of the end of the party.

Coach Quick Rade mocked the Animals, saying they have got where they are today via the use of draft concessions granted whilst their president was bent over accommodating current and previous administrations of the RFL. Asked to elaborate, Quick, replied "use your imagination, work it out" "There succes is tainted with the smell of seedy favouritism, no doubt about that"

It was indeed a thinly veiled reference to one of the worst kept secrets in RFL history. That is the extremely friendly relationships that have existed between The Animals and headquarters, and the benefits the Animals have managed to extract.

The Gunners announced a strong team for this weeks clash announcing only one change.

Team.
F) Matthew Lloyd, Aaron Hammill, Ben Graham
M) Nick Stevens, Paul Williams, Scott Camporeale
R) Aaron Sandilands
T) Damien Peverill
E) Brad Johnston.
