In reply to: New Dehli Chronicle 's message, "R11 - "Laxatives to finish Wacky Pretenders - Unshaw denies he'll step down"" on 12:15:15 07/02/04 Fri

Laxatives star forward Barry Hall has thanked Dharma for his recent good form in the RFL. Hall, who converted to Buddhism recently, admitted playing in robes made things difficult but an overwhelming sense of calm has allowed him to focus on the football. "Yeah I cop a bit about the flowing robes, it makes it easy to tackle me, but most players are respecting my religion and not trying to mess with my sacred cloth. They know they'd cop one if they did."

Meanwhile coach Danny Unshaw has turned down an offer to return to the lucaritive Danish Football League, where he coached 8 flags in a row, to stay with the Laxatives until the end of the season. A win last week took the heat off Unshaw and Football Manager Vijay Tiger Balm, who were rumoured to be replaced by former player and now media personality Floodney Spew.
