Subject: SwanGunners prepare for mid season draft.

In a move designed to prepare their list for an all out assault at the 2003 RFL premiership, the SwanGunners today announced that key forward, and pre season draft retainee Trent Croad, is to be offered as a trade, prior to or in the forthcoming mid season draft.

SwanGunners president Geoff Willesse, said today that "Trent has been given plenty of opportunity at the Gunners, but has never quite lived up to expectations. He's really only played one game where he has performed and that was against "The Groovers" last year where he bagged a lazy 7. Other than that his performances have been shit." He then went on to say that he thought Trent's "was a fucking lazy wanker who was happier at the moment house hunting and surfing than kicking goals for The Gunners".

"Make no mistake about it, we want him off our list, and will take whatever we can get for him, although a ruckman, of any sort of talent (even McKee) would be a good swap if one can be arranged".

Croad's Manager, Dermott Brereton was unavailable for comment for the first time in living history. Although it is believed that as the story was not about him, Dermott just refused to speak to the media.
