Subject: General blames injuries for disastrous start
In reply to: Master Bakers keep top spot in big win over Darkness Eternal 's message, "Round 2 Results" on 20:38:06 04/25/04 Sun

The General has denied he is feeling the pressure after the Shadows collapsed to another embarrassing defeat against the overrated Bakers on Sunday.

The Darkness Eternal coach, who was verbally abused by two wraiths and spat at by a zombie after the loss, said he had been guaranteed his job for the rest of the year by club president Jefferson Airplane.

"Yeah, nah, it was really disappointing," the General intoned.

"But between mummified flesh and broken bones, the boys literally decomposing. I can tell you it's certainly left a bad smell around the place.

"Gardiner is supposed to be tending cemeteries, not in them, while that toughening up Richo did over the summer has proved to be just rigor mortis."

Airplane insisted The General's position is secure for the rest of the season.

"I have nothing further to say on the issue," The Shadows club president explained while having lunch with Kevin Shady, Terry (Plough) Graves and Rodney AIDS.
