JOCK FEELING THE HEAT
By Carowhine Wiltsome

McHale's Navy coach Jock McHale is feeling the heat from club president Zach de la Rocha after his side's winless start to the 2003 RFL season.

The Navy is 0-4, losing to sides placed second, third, ninth and eleventh on the ladder. Star forward/ruckman Brad Ottens is sidelined with injury, as are Stuart Dew and John Barker, but otherwise the Navy has almost a full list to pick from.

Sources close to the club say that McHale needs to bring some wins to HMAS Cerberus in the next fortnight, or he will come under extreme pressure to keep his position.

McHale himself has remained tightlipped about his side's poor start to the year. However, he will have to come up with some answers soon, or it will most certainly be his turn in the barrel.
