In reply to: Brandie 's message, "um...ok...soccer is supposed to start this week (m" on 11:30:56 08/27/06 Sun

know who the coach is, what team she's on, and when and where their practices are.

In my experiences, once it was coaches who had no idea what they were doing and were only coaching so that their nephew and his friends could play for free. It was so bad that L's never been willing to play baseball again! I didn't speak up, but I wish I had.

The other time it was a coach who was coaching in 3 separate leagues...and viewed ours as practice for the "real" leagues. When he missed practices and even games I complained...but got nowhere. He had a good reputation with the organization...by the end of the season that was looong gone.

I wished later that I'd gone into the office in person and simply requested a change of teams.

I'd give the coach one more chance. If anything else unfortunate happens, ask which team has an opening then request that Lauren be moved!

This should be fun for her...not torture for you!

Good luck!!! Keep us updated!
