As usual, my kids drove me nuts. Neither even wished me a happy birthday. The lady at the Dollar Tree did...she was the only person, lol!

Teiguen wanted to buy me a birthday balloon...then two...then three. He got argumentative about it...only one was even a birthday balloon...and he only decided they were to celebrate my birthday after I told him no. I made him put them back. Later he got a free one at the grocery store...and never offered it. He's got a greedy little heart! I don't know what Liam's deal with holidays is. There is something perverse about his nature...he knows I'd like him to at least wish me a happy day, and he just refuses to do it. I have no idea why. Even if I plan something for us to do to celebrate, he refuses to acknowledge that it's a celebration. He's all for parties and holidays if they focus on him...or his friends. I dunno what's wrong with the two of them.

I did enjoy the game and pizza. That was a nice break from the routine.
