In reply to: Lori 's message, "Bad things come in 3's right? So I'm good for a while" on 12:17:24 08/17/06 Thu

finally feeling as if I've turned a corner...as if I've climbed out of the hole I fell into when Teiguen was born. Oddly enough, it wasn't the cost of adding another child that caused the problem...it was everything else!!!

For once I feel as if things will maybe actually be okay from now on....

I hope you see a turn-around soon! I agree with you about the house you're in now...buying an older house is buying someone else's problems. I have a feeling the housing market will be more in our favor in a year or two. I am thinking I'll try to buy again in 2008...unless the housing market turns around faster than I think it will. Hopefully housing prices will adjust themselves and become a bit more realistic!

Will your landlord pay someone to come pump out the basement? Here in the midwest EVERYONE has a sump pump. I'd never heard of them, having grown up in Colorado. Will your landlord pay to have the yard redone so the water gets diverted away from the house??? I'd guess the answer would be no considering the recent expenses.

I hope she gets it cleaned up for you pdq!!!
